The Lund Gift Charter

These are the lands granted:

  • The land which Øpe, son of Thorbjørn, surrendered at Lund as compensation to restore the king’s peace.
  • At Lilla Uppåkra, four and a half hides.
  • At the other Uppåkra, another four and a half hides.
  • At Herrestad, eight hides.
  • At Skälshög, two hides.
  • At Flädie, five and a half hides, which Håkon gave to the king.
  • At Hilleshög, half a hide.
  • At Håstad, one hide.
  • At Gärd, in Venestad, one hide.
  • At Skättilljunga, half a hide.
  • At Sövestad, half a hide, which Skore had paid as compensation for his peace.
  • At Karlaby, half a hide, which the same Skore gave to the king for his peace.
  • At Brönneslöv, half a hide, which the king had redeemed from Thorgisl, son of Gunsten.
  • In Göingebygd, at Sandby, one hide.
  • On Zealand, in Ramsø Hundred, at Øm, two hides.
  • In Sømme Hundred, at Tjæreby, two hides.
  • In Tune Hundred, at Winningawe, two hides.
  • In Horns Hundred, at Skuldelev, one hide.
  • At Onsved, one hide.
  • At Lower Smørum, two hides.
  • In Lynge Hundred, at Børstingerød, two hides.
